These partners are typically rurally oriented membership organizations like Microfinance Institutions (MFIs), cooperatives, and people’s organizations, who buy the solar products from HSSi under the SAP and resell the products to their members with a loan.
These individuals and organizations purchase products from HSSi to donate to calamity survivors, schools and clinics.
These organizations provide working capital to technology partners (e.g., Solar Connect), HSSi (e.g., Sunfunder, fairpla.net, Gaia), and channel partners (e.g., PEF, Go Light our World).
These organizations include CSO federations, Peace and Equity Foundation (PEF), and Stiftung Solarenergie Philippines (StS), who help with partner identification, partner capacity building, technician training, product development, market awareness and technology adoption, and industry formation.
